Ashtanga Yoga is built on key principles that harmonize the body and mind:

  1. Breath – The breath is our engine.

  2. Coordination of Breath and Movement – Every movement is guided by the breath.

  3. Bandhas – Balanced tension, not too much, not too little.

  4. Drishti – Focus your gaze on a fixed point, not on your neighbor.

My yoga teaching journey began in 2014 under the guidance of Lothar Wester in Paderborn. My practice and teaching were greatly influenced by teacher trainings with Roland Steiner and David Swenson. Today, I enjoy my daily Ashtanga practice.

Course details

In this course, we begin with the sun salutation A and B series, incorporating the fundamentals mentioned above. Each session includes a combination of standing and seated postures, followed by a finishing sequence and shavasana (relaxation).
